Argosy

Freightliner
Freightliner trucks made an indelible impression on the South African long haul trucking industry from the first FLB model sold in 1996 to the last Argosy sold in 2016.
Argosy was especially notable in that it was the first truck in South African trucking history with an automated mechanical transmission as standard, and the first truck to offer a choice of three different engine brands.
Daimler Truck Southern Africa continues to keep their promise of support to the owners of thousands of Freightliner trucks still on South African roads by continuing to offer both service and parts supply for Freightliner trucks and their Detroit Diesel engines on an ongoing basis through selected dealers. The recently launched Argosy 2.0 packaged refurbishment offers mean that Freightliner Argsoy trucks will continue to be a feature on our roads for many years to come.
